Birds And The Concrete Jungle

No more of getting up to the sound of chirping birds. As the trees in my backyard have given way for an upcoming construction site.

My family had developed a hobby to spot unusual birds with unique sounds, colours and shapes, small and big, black and white. The black ones were usually with stunning colors on their wings or crown. some with elegant blue wings, others proudly displaying their red crowns. I would rush and grab my camera to capture them, only to find that they have flown far away to some other tree. One evening we had spotted a white owl, we kept staring at the owl in amusement and the owl stared back at us. Some birds made a short and sweet sound while others went on and on as if they are telling an interesting story.

But now we have to find something else to amuse our self and the view from my window during the rains is never going to be the same again.
